Standard Route: 11.5 miles 2185 feet of climbing and descending
This is a typical front range ride with most of the climbing taking place at the beginning. If you like technical ascents make an attempt on the "wall". It will challenge even an advanced rider. Don't let that section scare you away, its short and the rest of the trail is very manageable. The climb can be a grunt for some but once you get near the top the grade decreases and there are a few good loops up there. We will connect all of the trails open to bikes in some form of figure 8 loop. The way out is a fast descent which is often loose and rocky.
Due to the size of the crew that this ride typically draws, and the different pace preferences within the group, there will be a split start. Those that prefer a more moderate pace should be prepared to leave the lot at 5:45 sharp. Those that like to go faster will usually leave the lot 10-15 minutes later than the first group. If you are not sure where you will fit within the group plan on the early start.
