Dedisse & Alderfer/Three Sisters

Standard Route: 13.6 miles 2157 feet of climbing and descending

This is a good trail with lots of flow, fun, and a few technical sections mixed in. Just like most of the other front range trails this one starts out climbing and keeps on going until we reach the top of Evergreen Mtn. There are some breaks in the grade along the way that will allow recovery but then its back up. The way back to the car is mostly a fast downhill until we reach the golf course. There are a few short climbs after that but nothing major. We will determine the route based who shows up the night of the ride.

This one can be hard to find for those that have not been to the park before. Dedisse Park is 27 miles (43 km) west of Denver just west of Evergreen on Colorado State Highway 74. The park entrance is just after the merge from two lanes into one near the bottom of the hill on 74. If you get to a big sweeping corner with Evergreen lake in front of you, turn around because you missed the turn.
